The first hotel in Kiev received permission to open a casino was the Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv.

Here, on the ground floor of the hotel on the area of 1562.1 m² may be housed casino, slot machines room and bookmaker. Shangri-La Casino plans to be housed in the hotel, which is owned by Storm International.
